Affordable RO Systems for Iowa Homes
We ship NSF-certified reverse osmosis systems that remove nitrates, heavy metals, chlorine, and other contaminants from your tap water right to your door. Our systems fit under your kitchen sink and connect directly to your faucet. Installation is straightforward, maintenance is simple, and the results are immediate. You turn on the tap and get pure water.
WHY WE STARTED
Because Iowa's Water Problem Isn't Going Away Anytime Soon
Iowa has some of the most nitrate-contaminated drinking water in the country. This isn't a new problem and it isn't going away on its own.
We started Safe Water Iowa because we live here too. We saw families worried about what was coming out of their taps and being charged up to $1,500 to have plumbing companies install outdated, inefficient RO systems.
We knew there was a better way. Modern tankless, DIY-install RO systems of this quality sell for $450–$550 elsewhere. We're bringing them to our neighbors here in Iowa for far less.
We also give back. Five percent of every sale goes directly toward Iowa water quality initiatives and education. Because clean water for Iowa families doesn't stop with what comes out of your tap at home.
OUR FOUNDER
Dr. Isaiah Petersen
I'm Dr. Isaiah Petersen DC. My practice, Feel Good Chiropractic & Wellness is based in Ankeny, Iowa. Everyday I spend time helping my patients take practical steps toward better health and wellbeing. That same mindset informs how and why I built Safe Water Iowa: simple, practical, and affordable solutions for real problems that families face every day.
I am also a seventh-generation Iowan. My family has deep roots in this state. I was born here. My children will be raised here, and I will be buried here. I'm unabashedly pro-Iowa. It bothers me a great deal personally and as a healthcare provider to see the local news cycle dominated by stories of high cancer rates and growing questions about the role something as essential as water quality plays in those statistics—statistics that I am a part of having been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma at the age of 23.
I founded Safe Water Iowa to help provide an immediate solution to this problem while using proceeds to support organizations who are focused on long-term, big picture solutions here in our state.
